One more. Seriously I may have to do a bigger piece about these artists…they’re insanely talented.
Another incredible piece. Oil on canvas…I’ve heard of photorealism before but this just seems unreal.

OMG…this is a painting…it looks like a fashion spread from Nylon or something.
This video is fantastic…filmed using no lights, no cameras, just 3D technology capable of collecting information about the shapes of close range objects and a series of lasers rotating 360 degrees to produce all the exterior shots. The result is both beautiful and awe-inspiring.

close-up of the Marc Jacobs window display I posted a few days ago…love it…it looks like a scene from a Tim Burton movie.
This, THIS. While I feel like it’s the wrong season for these gowns, John Galliano never ceases to amaze me with his creations. These Dior Couture gowns look like something straight out of an O’Keefe painting or Monet’s garden. The first one is my absolute favorite - to die for! The gorgeous high contrast colors, the classic silhouettes made all the more feminine by the petal-like ruffles of silk and organza…I’m anxious to see how this will translate into trends for the fall.
